Anna Brown: 29-year-old Black Woman Dies in Jail After Being Dragged By Police Out of Hospital

This makes me hate people.

Anna Brown had visited several hospitals complaining of pain in her legs. When she was ignored at St. Mary’s Hospital, she refused to leaved, screaming and yelling that she was in pain. The hospital had her arrested. The police dragged her out of the hospital and into a squad car. At the Richmond Heights Police Department, she cried that she couldn’t stand up or get out of the car, so the officers dragged her out of the car, into a jail cell, and left her there.

Fifteen minutes later she was dead from a pulmonary embolism:

White Supremacists Hack Email of #TrayvonMartin and a New Video Fails to Substantiate Zimmerman’s Self-Defense Claims

Two new developments in the sordid Trayvon Martin affair.

First, white supremacists hacked into Trayvon Martin’s email account and posted some of the information on 4chan.

From Gawker:

A slide titled “Trayvon Martin Used Marijuana Habitually,” features an exchange between Trayvon and a friend about getting high. Another slide, “Trayvon Martin was a Drug Dealer” features Facebook messages and photos that supposedly prove Martin dealt drugs, including a picture of Martin posing “aggressively with a large amount of cash in his hand.” It’s impossible to verify the hacked messages’ authenticity—like other anti-Trayvon Martin propaganda, they’re probably a mix of real and fake content— but they are now being passed around as gospel among the racist underbelly of the internet, including message boards like the neo-Nazi hive Stormfront, which Klanklannon apparently frequents.

The saddest bit of Gawker’s story is that Trayvon’s email demonstrated that he was a focused young man trying to get into college:

#TrayvonMartin: Breitbrat Dan Riehl’s Racism Is Hanging Out All Over the Place

This rush to demonize Trayvon Martin is beyond ridiculous.

Leading the charge in the cavalcade of stupidity surrounding Trayvon Martin are the Breitbrats. In this case, Intrepid Blogger Dan Riehl, “found” a Facebook photo of “Trayvon Martin” which is supposed to lend credence to the wingnuts’ desperate efforts to cast Trayvon Martin as a thug.

In the photo, a young black kid is in a room somewhere throwing up middle fingers. This, of course, is damning evidence to the Breitbrats because the kid is black, he looks kind of black, and I’m pretty sure the kid is black.  Also, it’s the first time in history that any kid, black or otherwise has ever mugged for a camera, so he must be up to something.  He’s probably mugging the cameraman!

Sigh.

‘New’ Witness Claims #TrayvonMartin Attacked Zimmerman [updated]

Apparently, now there’s a new witness who claims that Trayvon attacked Zimmerman:

The witness told FOX 35 in Orlando that he saw evidence of a fight between Martin and Zimmerman, which could lend credence to the gunman’s claim that he was acting in self-defence.

‘The guy on the bottom who had a red sweater on was yelling to me: “Help, help… and I told him to stop and I was calling 911,’ he said.

Zimmerman was wearing a red sweater; Martin was in a grey hoodie.

He added: ‘When I got upstairs and looked down, the guy who was on top beating up the other guy, was the one laying in the grass, and I believe he was dead at that point.’

Abercrombie & Fitch and the ‘Ni-CLANG! Brown’ Pants Affair

A&F found itself in a bit of hot water today after The Internet found out that it was selling “nigger brown” pants in the UK.  Except they weren’t really, so you can uncream your Twinkie.  (I need to point out that A&F still sucks for trying to turn teenage girls into sex objects.)

I actually laughed when I clicked through to the fake Abercrombie website advertising “nigger brown” cargo pants. Maybe I’ve just hit my fuckery limit this week or something.  I think I’m in some kind of waking coma.

In any event, turns out that Abercrombie doesn’t have control over the website selling ni-CLANG! brown pants, which is being run by some Chinese cats who really need to update their translator software:

Ninth Circuit to Hold Formal Misconduct Hearing on Racist Ass Federal Judge

Good news! Judge Cebull, who sent a racist-ass email comparing interracial sex with bestiality is about to get served. (Lawyer jokes!)

The Judicial Council of the 9th Circuit will conduct a formal misconduct hearing into Chief Judge Richard Cebull’s decision to email a racist joke about President Obama’s mother having sex with a dog. According to the Ninth Circuit, Cebull initiated the inquiry. Additionally, Cebull told Rep. Denny Rehberg (R-MT) that he will formally apologize to the president.

I’ll never stop laughing at the “I’m not racist, I didn’t expect the email to go public” excuse. What a crock.

A federal judge admitted to sending a racist email about President Obama and offered the most piss-poor excuse for doing so: He didn’t intend for the email (which he sent from his government email address, mind you) to become public.
