”Fake” Trayvon Martin picture circulates on the web; originates from neo-Nazis

I can’t even.

Good to know that Fox News, Michelle Malkin, Dana Loesch (good job CNN!) and the rest of the denizens of Wingnutopia are getting their news from a bunch of  neo-Nazis:

Over the weekend, a picture began circulating that claimed to show Martin in a less-than-flattering light: shirtless, sagging pants, and giving the finger to the camera.

The image quickly circulated across blogs and websites, with many claiming it as evidence that Martin was not as innocent as family and supporters claimed, as well as alleging media bias.

There is one problem to that claim: the picture is not Trayvon Martin.

Shocking Breitbart Reveal: Black Man Hugs Another Black Man!

Michelle Malkin, Sean Hannity, and the rest of the fail-clowns on the right are currently creaming their twinkies over video footage so shocking, that it very well might have been the cause of Andrew Breitbart’s untimely death.

In the video, a young President Obama (at the time, he was president of the Harvard Law Review) is speaking at a Harvard protest rally in support of then law school Professor Derrick Bell’s call for more diversity among Harvard faculty.

THE HORROR!

The big reveal  (which Breitbart touted at CPAC as signaling the death knell for President Obama’s re-election chances) is that at the end of the video — you should probably sit down for this — BARACK OBAMA HUGS DERRICK BELL.  

BLACK MEN HUGGING?  The hell you say!

Of course Fox News stands with Officer Pepper Spray.

“I don’t think we have the right to Monday-morning quarterback the police,” Bill O’Reilly said tonight, discussing the appalling use of pepper spray by UC Davis police on Friday. No, God forbid we Monday-morning quarterback the police, especially, as O’Reilly continued, “at a place like UC Davis, which is a fairly liberal campus.”

Indeed: what right do we have to think that Lt. John Pike should probably not have indifferently dusted peacefully sitting protesters with pepper spray from only a few feet away? And, gosh, even if we were going to Monday-morning quarterback the police, shouldn’t we remember, as Megyn Kelly tells O’Reilly, that pepper spray is “a food product, essentially”?

What’s the big deal?  It’s just food.  And besides, when it comes to policing librulz, anything goes!

Fox News is a parody of Fox News.

By the way?  Casually Pepper Spray Everything is a meme now, because of course it is.

Argles Are Meant To Be Blargled, They Just Are

Even if every Republican in Washington was thrown out of office, we’d still have FOX News to contend with and their protomorphic reality-affecting powers.

Republicans are in an Internet uproar over an erroneous media report quoting EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson as calling them “jack-booted thugs” during a speech at the University of California at Berkeley.

Trouble is, Jackson didn’t level the term at Republicans. Instead, she used it to refer to her own employees, jokingly borrowing language that the EPA’s critics have used to describe the agency’s workers.

Your pathetic facts can never be allowed to stop the Almighty Right Wing Noise Machine from LAUNCH ALL ARGLE BLARGLE NOW WITH SIRENS. That rocketship’s gonna fly and we don’t care where it lands, baby:

Caught in Another Lie: Fox News Doctors Hoffa Speech To Fabricate Call For Violence

These people are lying assholes

The wingnuts are in full smear mode, claiming that during his speech at the Detroit rally today, Teamsters President James Hoffa, Jr. advocated for violence by saying “Let’s take these son of a bitches out and give America back to America where we belong!”  

And, of course, these liars pivoted from that lie to the next lie: That by failing to condemn Hoffa’s statement, President Obama is “sanctioning violence against fellow Americans.”  The wingnuts are having a field day with this because of course they are.

It’s the old “union thuggery two step,” right?  We’ve seen it before.  Dana Loesch and her Overdaddy Breitbart have already been busted for employing this very same scheme!  Remember how they trotted out Some Black Guy who had purportedly been beaten by SEIU union thugs?  Two years later, those “thugs” were found “NOT GUILTY.” (Check out Adam Shriver’s blog —  St. Louis Activist Hub — for details on those shenanigans.)

As with BlackGuyGate, HoffaGate is a pile of horse shit, but that’s not stopping the wingnut bloggers from freaking the fuck out:

Chris Wallace doesn’t argue.

Jon Stewart is the business, whether it’s calling Tucker Carlson a bow-tie-wearing dick, or calling Fox News insane and stupid to its face:

Stewart: I’m given credibility in this world because of the disappointment the public has in what the news media does.

Wallace: I don’t think our viewers are the least bit disappointed in us. I think our viewers think finally they’re getting someone who tells the other side of the story.

Stewart: And in polls who is the most consistently misinformed media viewers? Who’s consistently misinformed? Fox. Fox viewers.

Somebody had to say it.
