Jerry Sandusky Victim Bullied Out of High School for Snitching

This is madness:

Victim One, the first known alleged victim of abuse by former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky, had to leave his school in the middle of his senior year because of bullying, his counselor said Sunday.

Officials at Central Mountain High School in Clinton County weren’t providing guidance for fellow students, who were reacting badly about Joe Paterno’s firing and blaming the 17-year-old, said Mike Gillum, the psychologist helping his family. Those officials were unavailable for comment this weekend.

The name-calling and verbal threats were just too much, he said.

Other alleged victims are turning to each other for support, since they fear others will out them and cause a media swarm. The only encouragement for Victim One, Gillum said, is watching other alleged victims come forward because they felt empowered by his courage.

“He feels good about that,” Gillum said. “That’s the one good that’s come of all this.”

Where the hell are the high school administrators on this?!  It is their responsibility to protect students like Victim 1, especially at a time when they had to know that tensions would be running high.  It is also their responsibility to explain to these nitwit bullies that Victim 1 should be commended for coming forward and empowering other victims to come forward. I Was Sexually Assaulted As A Child

Teach Your Children What To Look For And Listen To Them!

I was sexually assaulted by two teenage boys in my neighborhood when I was around 10 years old. The two incidents were independent of each other. I don’t know exactly how old I was or the amount of time that separated the incidents, but based on what I remember, I’m pretty sure I was between 9 – 11 years old when the assaults happened. From what I’ve deduced, the teenagers were both around 4 years older than me.

It was a difficult time in my young life, my father died when I was 6 years old of a heart attack and my mother was a single, working mom — trying to raise 5 boys on her own. I never told my mother about the incidents. If I had, all hell would have broken loose and heads would have rolled. She was absolutely the best mother that ever walked the earth.

The first person I told about these assaults was a girlfriend, I was 20 years old at the time. I’ve since been very open about it and have come to terms with it. I encourage anyone else who has suffered through similar assaults to get it out in the open, talk to people. So much of the pain that people carry around is because they keep it to themselves.

Although there is a difference between my assaults and the ones perpetrated by Jerry Sandusky, there are also similarities. I was manipulated by these older boys in much the same way as the victims of Sandusky. I remember feeling special that these older boys wanted to hang around with me and actually were paying some attention to me. I remember the details of the incidents clearly, but I’m not sure if sharing those details will help anyone, so I will keep it vague. I would surely hate for some pedophile to get off on my descriptions of what happened. They involved oral sex, touching and in one case an attempt at penetration.

PSU Scandal Rumor Mill: Sandusky Pimped Out Boys to Rich Foundation Donors

Vile.

 The PSU scandal may get much uglier; there may be as many as 17 more accusers coming forward, and rumor has it that Sandusky may have been running a real honest-to-goodness pedophile ring:

Sportswriter Mark Madden went on WEEI in Boston and reported a rumor that alleged child molester Jerry Sandusky would pimp out boys to rich donors.

“I hear a rumor that there will be a shocking development from the Second Miles Foundation … That Jerry Sandusky and Second Mile were pimping out young boys to rich donors.”

Madden claims it’s being investigated by “two prominent columnists.”

We’d say this is ridiculous, and that you should take it with a grain of salt. But Madden actually wrote about Sandusky for the Beaver County Times six months ago — long before the scandal blindsided everyone else this week.

Madden also claimed Sandusky was forced out of Penn State in 1999.

“I think you’ll find out that Jerry Sandusky was told he had to retire in exchange for a cover up.”

The Second Miles Foundation is a charity dedicated to helping children with absent or dysfunctional families.  When Sandusky founded it in 1977, however, it was simply a group foster home for troubled boys.  Go ahead and marinate on that for a minute.  Continue reading →

Penn State Athletic Program Harbors Known Child Molester for Years

This story disturbs me so much that it bothers me to inflict it on others by sharing it. I’m too pissed off to write about it, but fortunately, Yahoo! sports reporter Dan Wetzel did such a good job that I only need repost highlights of his article and say, This.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. on March 1, 2002, a Penn State graduate assistant entered what should have been an empty football locker room. He was surprised to hear the showers running and noises he thought sounded like sexual activity, according to a Pennsylvania grand jury “finding of fact” released Saturday.

When he looked in the shower he saw what he estimated to be a 10-year-old boy, hands pressed up against the wall, “being subjected to anal intercourse,” by Jerry Sandusky, then 58 and Penn State’s former defensive coordinator. The grad assistant said both the boy and the coach saw him before he fled to his office where, distraught and stunned, the grad assistant telephoned his father, who instructed his son to flee the building.

Roman Polanski is an Asshole

Aw.  Poor Roman Polanski. Boo fucking hoo. The US wants to serve him on a “platter to the media of the world.” He is going to be ripped from the bosom of his Swiss chalet where, poor baby, he has been under house arrest.  Polanski is facing extradition and jail time and he is worried about the media?

Again, house arrest in a SWISS CHALET, how can you NOT feel pity for this rapist. Pardon, rapist on the run. Just so we are clear about where I stand, Polanski is a rapist. I don’t care how you, as a rape excusist, want to blame the victim (or her mother), a 13-year-old on Quaaludes cannot consent to sex. Vaginal, oral or anal, cannot consent. Period. End of story. Now you can say he wasn’t convicted of rape, which is true – but conviction does not a rapist make.

Now that that’s clear, let’s get back to Polanski’s whinging, shall we? Polanski released a press releasing saying that he will “remain silent no longer.” Personally, I think he should shut his pie hole, but, you know, let’s hear what he has to say – maybe he will show some contrition? Not!

Apparently, the extradition request is “founded on a lie.” Um, fuck me gently with a chainsaw? What?! You see, in the twisted world of this Hollywood-lauded rapist, the rape of a 13-year old and subsequent fleeing of the country is not the reason he is being extradited. Nay, my friends, he is being extradited because of media interest.

According to Polanski,

“I am not going to try to ask you to pity my lot in life. I ask only to be treated fairly like anyone else.”

Ok, except by saying he isn’t asking for pity, he is passive aggressively reminding us of his WWII experiences and murdered wife (well, unless he is stupid enough to remind him of his “hardships” in France). ::Rolls eyes::

Free Polanski?! SHAME ON YOU.

I have pondered for a week what to do or say about Roman Polanski’s arrest at a film festival in Switzerland last week for fleeing the United States in 1978 after raping a 13 year old girl, and the resulting “Free Polanski” petition which members of the European and American film community, as well as designers, authors, and other artists have signed urging for Polanski’s release.

I speak only for myself when I say the following:  Roman Polanski is a revolting human being, and the artists who are rallying behind Roman Polanski are morally repugnant and should be deeply ashamed of themselves.

Whoopi Goldberg said it wasn’t “rape-rape.”

Debra Tate, the sister of Sharon Tate, Polanski’s wife who was murdered by the Manson family in 1969 told Matt Lauer on the Today Show that even though the girl was 13, it was consensual sex: “It was rape, but it wasn’t rape.”

Debra Winger accused the Swiss authorities of “philistine collusion” and said “This fledgling festival has been unfairly exploited, and whenever this happens the whole art world suffers.”

Every time another celebrity opens his or her mouth in defense of Roman Polanski, I lose all respect for that person.  Hell, anytime any one of my friends or acquaintances opens his or her mouth in defense of Roman Polanski, I lose all respect for that person.  Roman Polanski forcibly raped a 13 year old girl.  Full.Stop.

And after he fled the United States, this is what he had to say about it:

“If I had killed somebody, it wouldn’t have had so much appeal to the press, you see? But… fucking, you see, and the young girls. Judges want to fuck young girls. Juries want to fuck young girls. Everyone wants to fuck young girls!”

Which brings me to the reason for this post. A few months ago, Thundersquee! featured Natalie Portman as a Daily Bale. As a result, Thundersquee! un-baled her.  Any person who would sign a “Free Polanski” petition does not deserve to be featured as a Daily Bale on Thundersquee!
