Two new developments in the sordid Trayvon Martin affair.
First, white supremacists hacked into Trayvon Martin’s email account and posted some of the information on 4chan.

A slide titled “Trayvon Martin Used Marijuana Habitually,” features an exchange between Trayvon and a friend about getting high. Another slide, “Trayvon Martin was a Drug Dealer” features Facebook messages and photos that supposedly prove Martin dealt drugs, including a picture of Martin posing “aggressively with a large amount of cash in his hand.” It’s impossible to verify the hacked messages’ authenticity—like other anti-Trayvon Martin propaganda, they’re probably a mix of real and fake content— but they are now being passed around as gospel among the racist underbelly of the internet, including message boards like the neo-Nazi hive Stormfront, which Klanklannon apparently frequents.

The saddest bit of Gawker’s story is that Trayvon’s email demonstrated that he was a focused young man trying to get into college:
But Klanklannon included none of Martin’s emails in his leak, because the picture they paint is of a normal high school junior preparing for college. A screenshot of Trayvon’s Gmail inbox our source provided us is heartbreaking. Martin apparently used his Gmail account for his college search, and it’s filled with emails about upcoming SAT tests and scholarship applications. (“Trayvon, now is the best time to take the SATs!”) One email included the results of a career aptitude test, our source said. It “talked about his interest in aeronautics and stuff.”
The ongoing demonization of this young boy is despicable.
Second, a longer video of Zimmerman’s arrival at the Sanford Police Department further demonstrates that he suffered no injuries at Trayvon’s hands.
The questions remain: If Trayvon Martin punched Zimmerman hard enough to break Zimmerman’s nose and bashed his head into the ground before beating him more — which is what the Zimmerman PR Cabal claims — then why is there no blood on Zimmerman’s clothes or any signs of injury whatsoever?
At this point, that’s a rhetorical question.
Finally, here is Charles Johnson on aggressively stupid Dan Riehl’s attempt to make a headwound out of an overhead light reflection:
Meanwhile, right wing “news” site The Daily Caller isolated one split second from the earlier ABC News video and “enhanced” it to show what they claim “may be an injury.” But it’s very obviously a reflection of the overhead light on Zimmerman’s shaved head; many other views of Zimmerman’s head show absolutely no injuries in that area. The Daily Caller’s attempt to claim otherwise is, frankly, ludicrous.
They need to stop digging and arrest George Zimmerman. Now.

I genuinely hate these people with the same color skin I have. And it is looking more like the fix was in from the get go for Zimmerman to get away with murder, from his ex judge daddy, to the DA, and at least some of the cops on the scene. They did not investigate this as a crime, and did not collect evidence properly, or at all. They did not take Zimmerman to the hospital for his fake wounds. All of it together, done, no doubt, to make it impossible to win a prosecution of this shithead living out his murderous fantasy.
And we have a story spun by wingnut bloggers, of his being some kind of evil, with Tryavon unable to speak for himself as to what happened. which on the meta, is walking around black being a capital offense in cracker land Florida. Between this and the SCOTUS teabagger justices, I figure we aren’t as far from civil war as I had thought. I said a long time ago, that when these people hollered ‘they want their country back’, they really meant it, this time, by hook or crook, from mudering a defenseless teenager then covering it up, to the top of the legal world with supreme court justices sounding like tea party spokesman, regardless if whether Kennedy has the stones to flip the doomsday switch to unravel this country in a profound way. Fuck it, we should have shipped these assholes back to Europe, when we had the chance.
The video seems (it’s hard to tell with the ABC chyron over Zimmerman’s head) to show that he didn’t have any injuries at all. I’m baffled as to how the police and/or local prosecutor could believe this story. I had a head injury last year, and they bleed profusely. Even if the video was taken after Zimmerman had received treatment, the stitches would have been covered with a pressure bandage(similar to an Ace Bandage) wrapped completely around his head. At the very least, if Zimmerman had a long, stitched wound on the back of his head, the wound would have been covered, so I’m not buying what Dan Riehl has to sell.
I’ll go along with that. As another white guy, all I can say is that I can’t wait until we’re comfortably in the minority. I fear that as that day looms, though, freakish, paranoid white assholes will become ever more frantic and violent. I only hope that we can outlast them.
I believe I read somewhere earlier today that the medical examiner indicated there were no signs on Trayvon’s hand that would indicate he had thrown a punch hard enough to break a man’s nose. Sorry, I can’t find the source to cite.
And actually it doesn’t matter if Trayvon was doped to the eyeballs every day, selling on street corners and dropping out of school. He was doing NONE OF THAT STUFF that night. He was in a place he had every right to be, doing something he had every right to do. The attempt to trash his reputation is despicable and I know he was a decent kid doing the kinds of things decent kids do, but that has no bearing on Zimmerman’s actions.

Just read the white plains article … That case is even more disturbing than the Trayvon Martin case because of the police involvement and the fact that the poor guy was in his own home. Just sickening.
Is this really what it’s like to be black in America? To have to live in fear that everything you say/do can be perceived as a threat and used as justification to murder you? WTF is wrong with us as a society that people can’t see these events for what they REALLY are: HATE CRIMES.
Agreed. The fact that the names of the officers involved have not been released and there has been no mention of a suspension or administrative leave during the investigation boggles the mind. If I was black and lived in White Plains I would bein total fear of the police force, because you can’t know which one of them entered a man’s home and shot him.It’s just unbelievable.
Heather and Mary, I believe it was the funeral director who said that Trayvon had no markings on him that indicated he had been in a physical altercation. The autopsy report is apparently sealed at this time.

(RNN) – The funeral director who prepared Trayvon Martin’s body for burial told a TV anchor that Martin had no injuries to his hands or arms that would indicate a fight had occurred.
Richard Kurtz told CNN’s Nancy Grace on Wednesday that Martin had a gunshot wound to his upper chest, but any other injury would have been difficult to detect because an autopsy was performed on the teen’s body before he received it.
“As for his hands and knuckles, I don’t see any evidence he had been fighting anybody,” Kurtz said.
A Volusia County spokesman, Dave Byron, has confirmed that an autopsy was performed by them, but those results could take more than 30 days to be released. Results will not be unsealed until the investigation becomes “inactive.”

I have to admit that I don’t understand that last line about the results not being unsealed until the investigation becomes “inactive.” What, now the police and other people involved in the investigation don’t need to know the condition of Trayvon’s body? They don’t need to know whether there was any evidence on his body that would show whether or not there had been a fight? (Though for the record, if Trayvon took a swing at Zimmerman, I wouldn’t blame him a bit — the kid was rightfully scared for his life.)
As to the video, yeah, where’s the blood, George? Hell, I’ve gotten a little scratch on my nose that bled like a stuck pig. If his nose was broken, I would expect that there would be some blood on the front of his shirt.
About this video of Zimmerman at the police station…
Shouldn’t there be some sort of time and date stamp on this video? Whenever I watch any police video, I always notice a camera number/location and date and time stamp. Why is it missing from these videos? Is this the original video from the night in question?
The clothes he’s wearing appear to be what has been described by 911 callers on the night of the shooting. The police have not stated that they brought him in for questioning at any other time. He was in handcuffs. Those facts support the inference that the video was on the night of the shooting. They are from internal security cameras, not from police dashboard cameras, which usually do have a time and date stamp.
There was a piece on O’Donnell’s show last night featuring reporting from Joy-Ann at the Grio. She showed the pathway that Trayvon would have been walking to get home and where the “altercation” occurred. It has been reported that Zimmerman’s head was banged repeatedly on the sidewalk and he was “fighting for his life”. From the video last night, Trayvon was killed far up into the grassy area behind one of the homes – there was no concrete even in the frame they were so far away from it. The brother of Zimmerman last night said that he was beaten to within an inch of his life and was barely conscious. I’m wondering if any of these people are watching the same video evidence that the rest of us are, and if so, how are they still coming up with these ridiculous stories? George Zimmerman’s own voice contradicts everything his surrogates are promoting.
