“Is This Thing Recording? Check, Check”
I’ve heard Ron Paul described as “plain-spoken” way too many times. I guess if you define “plain spoken” as simplistic and with few words — then yes, he surely fits that definition.
Personally, I’ve never been impressed with that type of person or politician. I often wonder what they are hiding with their simplification. Is it ignorance, bias or just a desire to appeal to the populist crowd?
It is clear that many years ago, Ron Paul either authored or allowed his name to be signed on a newsletter that spewed some of the worst of the racist and anti-Semitic propaganda that was prevalent in the late 80s and 90s. To get caught up on that Ron Paul newsletter story, check out Joy Reid’s writing at The Reid Report.
But this story caught my eye and adds some context to Ron Paul’s denials on the newsletters. In 2006, Ron Paul was scheduled to appear and may have appeared on a White Supremacist radio show called The Political Cesspool. Charles Johnson describes it for us…

It’s very curious that the show Ron Paul was scheduled to appear on is conveniently missing from the archives of The Political Cesspool. Maybe it never happened, last minute cancellations happen all the time. But what if it did happen as scheduled, wouldn’t it be great to hear some of Ron Paul’s wisdom on this station with connections to white supremacist and holocaust deniers? I bet he was plain-spoken as hell and just told them good ole’ boys how it is, ya know?
Charles Johnson at Little Green Footballs is all over this story, let’s hope he gets to the bottom of it. I’m awfully curious what Ron Paul had to say in that interview.

It is so important kids , especially during the young years are raised by their family or at least extended family as well. Those years really form how a kid sees and deals with the world, if they challenge or are a sheep.

I am responding under the impression that as a true liberal, you are open to different cognitive iterpretations of various forms of media stimuli. The question is being asked repeatedly with the same response by Mr. Paul for nothing more than damaging his potential nomination. I’d like to know if he did the interview and what he said, aren’t you curious what he said? Or do you just accept everything he says or has said in his career? I did find what may be a home made recording in a private account in Perl, but it will take someone with Perl programming to get it.
Ah, my incompetence. I read the first paragraph and though it was another hit piece on that newsletter subject matter. This was news to me. In the brief search I did, I found no solid evidence of this. Basically, his appearance on the show does not exist. I did look at the information that is available at various sites it is mentioned in: Little Green Footballs, ATS, Stormfront etc… I only found references to a show he was never on. Evidently he was scheduled? Their are so many conclusions to come from that. He may have been scheduled and realized the show had that demografic and cancelled for example. The whole thing may have been manufactured to support their racist portrait of him. How is it someone knew just where to look? In any event anything can be manufactured by the currupt system he is against. You are aware as an Argry Black Lady that the white supremist organisations are run by the FBI,CIA,and SPLC. Please research this to better inform yourself. He wants to abolish the CIA. You have to realise the people he is adamantly against basically control everything. So sky is the limit. He most likely will loose, the odds are against him, but alot of people are waking up to the corrupt system. The media that is attacking him are owned by his opponents. Actually, Ron Paul followers, for the most part, are not Constitutionalist. if they were, they wouldn’t argue that states walk out on federal laws like Healthcare, the Federal Reserve, Civil Rights which is illegal under the Commerce clause of the Constitution, as well as the 10th Ammendment that Libertarian freak love to quote so much. (Not to mention the 14th)
A state can’t willy nilly tell the Fed to take a flying leap because they don’t like a government law (you know, you can’t bar Negroes and Latinos from your neighborhood or voting booths), just like a state can’t just randomly print its own money. You can change it through legislation but you can’t randomly break a law and not expect Uncle Sam to hammer in on your behind.
The “Commerce Clause” has nothing to do with health care, federal reserve. It’s sole goal was the protection of people to trade goods and services between the states. It has been abused by the “Banks” not the controlled puppets in office to make Americans dependent on the government.
Seeing as you can buy stocks in an insurance company, and HCR is essentially insurance regulation -yes, regulation how private insurance companies function falls into the commerce clause. Thanks for playing.
