This made laugh right out loud: Mark Prior, some dipshit in Wisconsin has decided to try to keep “Negros” out of his strip club. It’s his right! Or at least he thinks it’s his right. NEWSFLASH! It’s not. There’s a little something called the Civil Rights Act of 1964; so good luck with that, buddy:
A sign excluding black people from a future business is enraging some people in a small town. Now, the man who put it up is speaking out.
It’s a sign generations of people may have never seen. Yet a Clark County business man says it’s his right to discriminate.
Federal and State law says if the business is open to the public, prohibiting people based on race is illegal. If the man’s proposed gentlemen’s club was going to be a private club, then an African American historian says he could discriminate. Legalities aside, his is a sign that many say is appalling.
“If I’ve got a problem with you it’s going to be on the front of my store,” says Mark Prior.
Prior posted his ‘No Negros Allowed’ sign after he says he had some problems with black people in the past and needed to make a policy against them.
“I’m going to stick to my guns because I think I have the right as a business owner to reject service to anyone. It’s not all the black people there are just a few bad ones,” Prior says of his problems in the past.

But, Prior says it’s his right as an American and as a business owner to decide who’s welcome; a right he says he’ll take all the way to court if he has to.
“That’s the policy. I’m going to stick to my guns,” Prior says.
Prior told WEAU he feels people are making too big of a deal out of his sign. He says this is America and he’s entitled to his opinions.
He also said it’s not just black people he’s going to ban from his future establishment. He says he has a problem with certain white people as well, but he couldn’t just put a lengthy list of names on his building so he felt ‘No Negros Allowed’ was the best policy.
This cracks me up, for some reason. I would have loved to see a scroll listing all the people he has a problem with:

Leroy Jones
Jamal Warner
Bobby Jo Thompson (he knows what he did. Not cool, man. Not cool.)
Jose Sanchez (I don’t like Mexicans neither)

So I guess Negros encompasses not all black people — just the bad ones — as well as certain white people with whom he has a problem.

This is appalling but not at all surprising.
Kentucky elected Rand Paul who said during his campaign – OUT LOUD – that he was opposed to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and that had he been in the Senate back then, he would have voted against it.
I’m thinking that people who think in those terms feel somewhat empowered by Paul’s comments and figure “What the hell? I think I’ll challenge that there law.”
I say let the racist have his little strip joint. Maybe the rednecks will just start shooting each other if they don’t have anyone else to be pissed at.

If I were Chris Rock I would make a scathing joke about black dudes, chubby white women from the midwest, and the sustainability of this business model. But I don’t have the panache to pull it off, so I’ll just let it float out into the Intertubes and hope someone else does it. Sometimes you have to wonder if the libertarian model of letting the market decide really would work.

Hope he enjoys his private gentleman’s club without a liquor license (any establishment licensed by the state has to abide by that pesky Civil Rights Act…)
So if he wants to ban the bad white people it would be inconvenient to put up a list of the names of those people, but if he wants to ban the bad black people he just puts up a sign with a blanket denial of all black people, even though it’s not all black people that are the problem? I guess by saying it’s not ALL black people, he means it’s just the ones that frequent his shitty titty bar. Infallible logic! Wow. He’s really smart, that one.
Well, I guess it’s an advance in racism when the racist lumps everyone, black AND white, under the heading of “blacks” in order to ban them. No? I’m confused…

In certain circles the word “nigger” now means an ignorant, ill mannered, or low-class person–without regard to race. (Although I suspect there is a double-standard)
I wonder if there would be less ramification if someone posted a sign saying “No niggers” as opposed to “No blacks.” It seems counter-intuitive that using a word many would consider the worst racial slur, might go farther than using a relatively mild term. When one says “no blacks,” there is no doubt they mean all black people. When one says “no niggers,” under the new meaning they may mean “Many black people, some white people excluded,” much like this jackass tried to claim that “no blacks” meant.
well…i”m not sure how the following relates, but. I spend all of my time at the clubs. I have many very nice, beautiful friends who are black dancers, and yes, from Milwaukee. One of them told me it was getting to be a serious problem to be a black girl from Milwaukee and apply at clubs thru out the state. From what we talked about, she was seemingly referring to a sort of “influx” of black girls coming into the clubs from Milwaukee thru out the state. Many of them were not at all like the many classy, nice, professional black dancers both her and I know. They were crude and, I’m guessing, more “G”… if you know what that means. After they would get in, an influx of the brothers would occur, and the businesses would have “G” problems. Drugs, mostly, I’m guessing and/ or whatever. The clubs became startlingly direct about not allowing black girls, and yes, specifically from Milwaukee. They were very open about saying they did not want them in there. Mind you, I’m shocked now, because I’m being told this by my very beautiful black dancer friend. I’m guessing this was as a direct measure to not have the law crawling all over their clubs while the “G” got a free ride and split down the road with all the cold, hard cash. They would possibly leave a business in ruins behind them, but that wouldn’t seem to bother them much. And sooooo it goes… I do not have any specific examples, this was only from a general conversation at a club and in no way do I expect any of you to even grasp the truth I’m saying, here, and you may now all begin to scream it’s irrelevant, negro hating balderdash. People like you do that…..sometimes…..if you don’t read carefully…
