Angry Black Lady Chronicles: Idiots are Everywhere.

Growing On Trees.  Raining from the Sky.  ts-fucking-idiots

This whole birth certificate business is getting beyond ridiculous.  People have been screaming lately about how they want to take their country back and how Barack Obama is not actually a United States citizen, but rather a citizen of Kenya, and  therefore his presidency is not legitimate.  These people claim that Obama’s real certificate shows that his name is Barack Mohammed Obama (yeah, he changed his name because he knew that post 9/11 the name Hussein would definitely get him elected, yeah, def-def-definitely get him elected).  These morons were screaming about this before he was elected.  Hawaii put the issue to bed by issuing statement after statement confirming his citizenship.  But nooooo….  people are not satisfied.  And so, the issue is back in the media.

Seriously?  Are we actually having this conversation.  And are there actual elected Republican officials who are playing into the utter batshit crazy wing of the party?  Why yes.  Yes there are.  It’s totally insane.  At this point, these birthers are the stupidest fucking people on earth.  Hawaii has confirmed that Obama was born there.  Obama has provided his birth certificate.  At this point, the argument of the Birther Movement amounts to this:

THAT BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS A LIAR.

Continuing to believe that Obama was born in Kenya is like continuing to believe that the earth is flat.  It makes you a stupid fucking idiot.

In the video below, Chris Matthews takes on some asshole  (Congressman John Campbell from California) who is supporting a bill that would require future presidents to prove that they were born in America.  As if the goddamn Constitution doesn’t already have such a requirement in it.  Watch it.  And then join me out back.  My head will be exploding forthwith:

I swear to Cruise people.  I’m angry today.  When I see white folks yelling at town hall meetings about how they want their country back, and then I hear Bill O’Reilly talking about the white Christian power structure, I start looking out the window for motherfuckers marching down the street in pointy hats.

THE ENTIRE BIRTHER MOVEMENT IS BASED ON NOTHING BUT RACISM AND IT’S DRIVING ME GENTLY CARESSING FUCKING INSANE.

It’s 10 am.  Is it too early to drink?  I need to go to my happy place.

  1. Cristal Methodd

It’s 1pm on the east coast, I say drink!

  2. Good God. How can people seriously believe this stuff? This is like those people who think the moon landing was faked.

COME ON. People are fricking nuts.

  3. it has been neither confirmed nor denied that the moon even exists. so i don’t believe anyone walked on the moon.

i also believe that obama is a robot.

  4. But he was ASSEMBLED in Hawaii, which makes him AMERICAN!!

WHY IS THIS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND, PEOPLE??!!??

  5. bedbugs and ballyhoo

Hawaii isn’t a state because it isn’t actually attached to anything. It’s just a bunch of islands floating around in the Pacific Ocean. So, even IF Obama was born there, he is some sort of islander type person. Those people are heathens and sacrifice people to Volcano Gods. They also run around nekkid.
I’m trying to get caught up in the crazy. It makes it all seem like some sort of a lame joke to distract (stupid) people from the real horrors going on in the world.
One of these idiots will probably read this, take me seriously, and contact me to ask me if I will be their leader.

  6. It’s never too early to drink. Maybe if I have a drink, I’ll believe the moon landings ;-)

But seriously, I think it’s completely stupid that people are going along with the Birther Movement. There are alot more issues we need to look at (and more important as well).

  7. I acutally lasted for two minutes! New record for longest time spent listening to a “birther”(gently caressing rediculous!). The first words out of this guy’s mouth should have been enough to discredit that asshole.”This bill is not crazy” BAM! Logic and credibility down the pisser.

The current Republican party’s strategy and platform is very puzzling to me. It appears they want to alienate drive away the less lunatic among themselves by pulling stupid crap like this and the damn tea parties. They have done nothing but indiscriminantly opposed every measure initiated by the Democrats in Congress and the President. Even delaying the appointment of an extremely well qualified Supreme Court nominee because she had the balls to say that her life expirience gives her a beneficially unique perspective in which to apply the law.

The idiots probably think Puerto Ricans aren’t citizens either, I assure you we’re born citizens of the U.S., they give us our green card just before we get on make shift rafts made of discarded and disassembled front doors and old car tires and join the Cubans on our way to America. Don’t believe me, ask Rita Moreno, Freddie Prinze Jr.,Benicio Del Toro, Joaquin Pheonix,Sammy Davis Jr. and The Ponch himself Erik Estrada)

  8. Here is what I don’t get: Obama has enough controversial policies in the works for the Republicans to get up off the bullshit, and talk about them. They are RUINING the party (further) and all of the bullshit it stands for with all this nonsense bullshit. Focus on the health care bullshit, or the bazillion dollar bullshit “stimulus” that didn’t work, or the bullshit closing of the F-22 program in the defense budget (the only plane that is capable of air-to-air combat, and is stealth) that didn’t even nick the amount needed to balance the budget, or some other bullshit policy…wow, that’s a lot of bullshit flying around. Oh wait, we’re talking politics – NO WONDER THEY STINK.

    I’m done.

  9. that whole f22 thing is pretty interesting. apparently (i heard this on the news today) they don’t do well in the rain or in the desert. which is why they haven’t been used in iraq or afghanistan.

maybe one of our military affiliated folks could chime in?

  10. “Legal resident for 15 years or whatever it is…”

Look, you either care about all of it or none of it. And I thought we already had a process to make sure people were legally allowed to run for president–it’s called make sure your opponent is legal and tell the press.

Racial profiling on the highest level–what’s a black man doing hanging around a fancy white house like that? Can I see your birth certificate and registration please?

  11. Maybe it’s because my mom is a midwife but everytime I hear reference to the “Birthers” or the “Birther Movement” I think of a bunch of hippy duulas, pregant women with no bras and I sneeze because I thought I just caught a wiff of patchouli. Which is all just another reason to want to abort this issue.

And as a biracial woman who gets asked “Where are you from?”; replies, “Minnesota.” and then gets the follow-up question “No, no. ORIGINALLY.” at least once a month…well, sadly, I am not surprised.
